Altar Servers Needed
2nd grade-11th grade
Parents would you please consider having your child serve at
St. Mary's Altar? Your child may serve at whatever Mass you normally attend. Kathy Popich is in charge of scheduling servers for Masses and does a great job at honoring requests for serving. Click on the Altar Schedule in the box on the right side of this page to get an idea of how many times your child might serve in a 2 month period. Of course the more servers we have the less times your child will be needed to serve!
Father will have a practice once he receives names of new servers. Your child will have ample time to train and will serve with older servers so that they are comfortable. If you are a 2nd grader making your 1st Holy Communion this year, you may submit your name now (just be sure to note that you are in 2nd grade). You will be added to the schedule after you recieve the sacrament.

Black Book...
The Lenten Black Book is available for sale after all
Masses this weekend. The Black Book is similar to the
Blue Book of Advent. The suggested donation
for this inspirational book is $2.

We need a great deal of photocopying
done of our Fish Fry Menu for distribution to
local businesses as well as an insert in the paper.
If you can help or know of a printer willing to help photocopy
the 2-sided menu, please call the parish office at 412-221-1560.
We also need VOLUNTEERS to work at our Fish Fry.
If you are able to spare some of your free time to help
at the fish fry, please fill out the form
(located at all church exits)and turn in to the parish
office as soon as possible.

our Youth Group will take donations for those less fortunate.
You'll recognize our Youth at the exits of the church...
they're the ones holding the soup pots.
