Middle School Mass
Sunday, December 8
Our 6, 7 & 8 Grade CCD Students will help serve at Mass on this day as Greeters, Ushers, Readers, Altar Servers, and Choir Members right along
side the Adults scheduled to serve. Fr. Stan will also present each of these students with their very own Bible. Please help make this a memorable time for our students by attending the 10:30 Mass on this day.
Sunday December 8 at 1:00PM
We have approximately 170 reservations/71 families that will be attending our Luncheon. Thank you to everyone for submitting your reservation forms in on time. When you arrive for the Luncheon please park as if you were attending Mass so that everyone has an easy time at parking their vehicle. Once you enter the Church Hall look for the Family Reservation Tag table. Pick up your family tags and sit wherever you like! If you bring a dessert you can place it on the "Dessert Table." After everyone has arrived Fr. Stan will start the celebration. When it is time to eat, tables will be called to the buffet tables. Please take your Reservation tags to the buffet table with you, so that we are sure that
everyone receives exactly what they ordered!
At the 10:30AM Mass Only
Each year, on the Third Sunday of Advent, children gather with their families in St. Peter's Square for "Bambinelli Sunday." the children bring with them figures of the Christ Child--the "Bambinelli"--from their family's Nativity scene, or presepe. During the noontime Angelus prayer, the Pope blesses the children and the figurines they have brought. Here at St. Mary we would like to join Pope Francis and invite children of the parish to BRING THEIR family's infant Jesus to the 10:30AM mass on Sunday, December 15.
After the Gospel is said we will have the children come to the
Altar area with their infant Jesus for the blessing.
(Any size infant Jesus will work as long as it can be carried by a child
or with help from a parent.)
We hope that you will help us to start a new
annual tradition here at St. Mary
that the children will remember long after they are grown!

We will continue to accept new pledges or gifts for the Church Alive Campaign throughout the next 5 years. Remember that St. Mary will receive a 40% return from all gifts or money pledged. We only need about $14,500 to reach our goal of $420,000. If you are still deciding on whether or not to make a pledge or one-time gift, we invite you to do so today. Any side of pledge or gift is appreciated. Our parishioners are St. Mary--your various ways of support are always appreciated.
